Greetings! 

Thank you for visiting St. John the Evangelist in Ozark, AL. We would like to welcome you to our parish. I became pastor in September 2021. I am delighted to be in the Wiregrass. It is a special place that is dear to my heart. 

I grew up in Prattville, AL and attended nearby Wallace Community College from 1998-2000 where I played baseball. I graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery in 2003 with a degree in marketing and spent several years working in the private sector before feeling a call to serve as a priest for the Archdiocese of Mobile. 

I was ordained in 2016 and served as parochial vicar at St. Dominic Parish and chaplain at McGill-Toolen Catholic School High School in Mobile. Most recently, I have served as pastor of St. Martin of Tours in Troy, AL and campus minister at Troy University since June 2019. 

I look forward to serving this faith-filled community and celebrating God’s presence among us as your pastor. Know of my prayers for you and your families.
